Storyline:
A single trip deep into the Indian Ocean, an anonymous man (Redford) wakes to find his 39-foot yacht taking on water after a collision with a container ship left floating on the high seas. And navigation equipment and radio disabled, mourning someone know about the path of severe storms. Despite his success in patching broken helmet, his crew intuition and strength that belies his age, a man barely survives a storm. Use only the sextant and nautical maps and charts his progress, he is forced to rely ocean currents carry him across the line of the ship in hopes of natural passing vessel. But despite the unrelenting sun, and sharks circling his small devices decrease, the ever-resourceful sailor soon found his death looked into his face.
